Summer is fun! Nathan and I are really enjoying doing things outside with Sophie. We love watching her experience so many things for the first time. It makes these hot days a lot more fun for me! Sophie enjoys her pool and sprinkler, but we've doing quite a bit that doesn't involve water. Of all that summer has to offer, she just might like the treats the best! She is crazy about watermelon and is always excited to end her day with a popsicle out on the deck. Here she is signing "more", which she often does while eating something, even when there is plenty still in front of her. We think it must mean, "Better keep this stuff coming, guys."
I know I've had sidewalk chalk pictures on the babysite, but here are more. She really likes sitting outside; it probably wouldn't matter what she was doing.
While at Bradley Fair and on walks around the neighborhood, we've seen many ducks. Sophie likes them and finally seems to understand that they are, in fact, not dogs but an entirely different animal. Here is a duck at Bradley Fair that got really close to us.
