First Cousin on the Kurr Side

Julie and Ian's baby boy decided to come early. Orrin Drake was born at 11:18 p.m. on September 23rd at 33-1/2 weeks. He is so precious! We have been up to see Ori and his parents several times. Sophie hasn't actually seen him yet because the NICU has some pretty strict rules about visitors, but we look at his pictures on the computer and she says "Awww, baby" and she has said his name a couple times. I know she will love him very much!

Here are some pictures of Sophie having a good time in Aunt Julie's hospital room the day after Ori was born. We were there for almost 4 hours and she did so good! She loved the big chair; she sat there a long time with her baby, just eating snacks and jabbering. She also enjoyed reading the cards from some of Aunt Julie's students. They seem like sweet, funny kids. :) Sophie was pointing at the words and really saying...something! Mom and I were laughing a lot.

Hopefully baby Ori will get to come home soon and we can see him more. I'm still waiting for my turn to hold my sweet nephew!
